Flickr has released a feature to post photos on Twitter for Flickr users. Now you can upload images to Flickr and Twitter at the same time or tweet about existing Flickr photo using exclusive Flic.kr short URL. Unlike Twitpic.com, it doesn't requires signing into the site. In order to add Twitter support to Flickr, you have to sign in to authorize Flickr to post to Twitter account from the blog settings page.

After authorizing the Twitter account, users will get a 'Blog This' Button that will post photo with a custom twitter update from Flickr account itself. For more details on Twittering your Flickr photos, visit Flickr help.

Users would also be able to post from their mobile phones via email to a custom 2Twitter email address that will post the image to Flickr and Twitter. However, the subject line and body of the email should carry the custom Twitter message, up to a maximum 116 characters. The rest of the characters in the Twitter update will consist of special short Flic.kr URL.

This has been one of the much demanded features of Flickr users addicted to Twitter.
